| Things around here have been crazy. Dad threatened legal action against Momma because he said she was violating the divorce decree, Momma's job has been insane with layoffs and all kinds of stuff. I have been busy trying to help Momma stay sane amidst all this chaos.
In a new wrinkle...Momma was laid off from her job. Her last day was yesterday...or should have been, but she was too sick to go to work. She says that after the way the job has been for the last three months, she is glad to be out of there and looks forward to finding something new and better. Her only hope is that unemployment will pay fairly decent so she can continue to adequately feed us while she is looking for work.

| Just a quick update to let everyone know that Momma made it through this round of lay offs. She says she hears rumors that there might be more later, but for now she is safe and hopes the rumors just stay rumors. Hope everyone is having a good week!!! | | |
| Greetings and labby smooches to everyone. Hope you all are doing well. It's been interesting as usual here. Momma says that the divorce (still not sure what that is) was finalized last week, she's still not sure if she is happy or sad about it. Meanwhile...our bass player friend is still visiting every weekend. I think Momma kind of likes him...and yeah...I do too.
We had a new addition to our crew in the last couple of weeks. Momma took a couple of pictures of him...but says it doesn't really do him justice
We are still searching for a name...so if anyone has any ideas, we would love to hear them. Momma says for the last couple of weeks she has expected him to disappear and go back home because he is very friendly and not afraid of us dogs at all....but he seems to like being here after showing up shortly after our last snow storm three weeks ago...so maybe he is home.
Momma also says her company is being downsized (whatever that means) because of the economy and she is somewhat worried about the lay off that her company is having tomorrow. Everyone keep their paws crossed. Momma says she really doesn't want to get "laid off".

| Hope everyone's 2009 is turning out to be great. Ours has been fun. Last weekend momma's friend from Edmond surprised us by driving up....got here before Momma even got off work. He played frisbee with me for quite a while until it got dark...I like him...and am glad he has been coming here a lot.
Yesterday it snowed here. There is a little bit covering the ground now...but Momma says it won't stay because it's supposed to get warm again. Too bad...I like playing in the snow. Momma will occasionally let me run in the park when she gets off work if there is snow on the ground. She says it's because she can see me against the white snow and knows where I am. I guess I am kinda hard to see in the dark.
A couple Sundays ago Momma played her viola for a church solo...she let me post this picture
She says it's the first solo she has played in nearly a decade...and that and playing Christmas carols at a nursing home a few weeks ago have been her first performances in years.
Momma said she has filed something called divorce papers against Dad....not sure what that means...but I know I haven't seen him in over seven months, and honestly don't really miss him any more....I do know that Momma gets sad every time he is mentioned....so maybe it is better that he stays away.
I guess I had better get off of here...Momma says she wants to check her Myspace and Facebook...whatever those are.
